6 月 18 日,Geofitech was invited to participate in the Future Digital Economy and Investment Forum held by the World Economic Forum.Peng Bin, founder and CEO of Jiafei technology, shared the company's initiatives to reduce resource investment and environmental footprint.

The forum, themed "Unlocking Data-driven Green Development", brought together a number of industry leaders from the fields of technology, investment and the digital economy. As a promoter of global sustainable development, Geofai is working with Citic Capital, Bain, KPMG, Foxconn and other companies to discuss how to balance economic development and environmental protection in the wave of digital transformation, and join hands with the government to open an era of green growth and build a future world.

During the strategic dialogue on digital Economy and green technologies, Peng bin said digital technologies can improve agricultural production efficiency while avoiding environmental pollution caused by the misuse of pesticides and fertilizers in traditional agriculture and reducing the dependence of the food system on fossil energy.

"With the development of urbanization and industrialization, agricultural labor force has been lost, and rural areas are facing the challenge of an aging and hollowing out population. Therefore, JEFI has developed automated production tools suitable for different agricultural scenarios, such as agricultural drones and unmanned vehicles, to help farmers efficiently complete repetitive and dangerous farming activities such as sowing, fertilizing and applying medicine."

Based on deep learning, image recognition and other ARTIFICIAL intelligence technologies, Jefi took the lead in realizing the landing of AI prescription maps, allowing drones and robots to apply drugs as needed according to the growth of crops and the occurrence of pests and diseases, and perform differentiated precision spraying on different plots. This means that the use of pesticides and fertilisers has been greatly increased to prevent damage to human health and biodiversity. In addition, The company is also making a modest contribution to mitigating global warming by replacing traditional oil-powered agricultural machinery with electric smart devices to reduce carbon emissions in agricultural production.

In terms of farm intelligent management, Geofai easily realizes the closed loop of perception, decision making and execution in farm management through the combination of big data, artificial intelligence and automation hardware equipment.Peng bin explained that farmers can obtain crop data through extreme flying remote sensing drones and the Internet of things, and make more scientific analysis and decision-making with the help of cloud computing and AI. In addition, mobile management software can control various automatic equipment in the fields, so as to achieve precise and unmanned management of grain production.

"Leaf age is a key indicator for the scientific management of rice," Peng said. "In traditional agriculture, farmers usually use planting experience and 24 solar terms to determine when to spray pesticides and fertilizers. But with technology, farm management will become very smart, WITH AI and big data that can model crops based on the growing cycle and have an accurate sense of what's happening on the farm."

Combined with high-definition field maps, The Jiffy Smart Agriculture system can use ARTIFICIAL intelligence technology to identify basic seedlings, forecast yields and analyze crop growth, helping farmers make data-driven production management decisions. Finally, the robot will automatically perform the corresponding agricultural links according to the command, thus building an unmanned agricultural ecosystem.

In Sihui, Guangdong province, the AI identified the number of rice holes and found signs of pests and diseases, and the agricultural UAV performed precise operations based on the analysis results

As for how the government and enterprises should cooperate to speed up the transformation and development of digitalization, Peng bin pointed out that the improvement of rural digital infrastructure is crucial to promote agricultural automation and green development of rural economy.Only by adding complete RTK centimeter level navigation base station in rural areas, improving the coverage of 4G or 5G network in farmland, and building more power facilities, can the normal operation demand of unmanned equipment be met.In the future, when rural areas are equipped with sound digital infrastructure, the intelligent and unmanned development of agriculture will unleash greater potential and make real strides in realizing green growth.
